The stoneware series Ildpot was a breakthrough in the Danish household in the 1970s. Women had entered the labour market, which placed new demands on cooking and serving. With Ildpot, the frame could go straight from the freezer to the oven and onto the dining table. This made dinner both easy and straightforward. Now FDB is relaunching this iconic stoneware series, designed by renowned designer Grethe Meyer (1918-2008), who belonged to the Danish design elite and had a lifelong collaboration with furniture architect Børge Mogensen.
